Full job description
We are hiring an Administrative Assistant to provide essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the church office and facilitate effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist the Pastor with scheduling, correspondence, and other administrative tasks.
· Manage and maintain church records, including membership, financial, and event records.
· Organize and maintain the church office.
· Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls.
· Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
· Maintain and update the church calendar, website, and FaceBook page.
· Contribute to a positive and welcoming church environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred
- Experience: Previous experience in administrative or clerical roles, preferably in a church or non-profit environment.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google applications, and other relevant software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
