Summary:

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be a vital part of our team, utilizing core skills such as computer literacy, office experience, and organizational skills to provide efficient administrative support. Your premium skills in QuickBooks and office management will be valuable in handling financial tasks and overseeing office operations. With relevant skills in Microsoft Office and customer support, you will assist in managing documents, communicating effectively, and ensuring smooth office procedures. Join us in this role to contribute to the success of our construction projects through your administrative expertise and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Assist office manager with various clerical duties (answering telephone, filing, light accounting)
  • Quickbooks experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Assist safety director with organization of weekly tool-box meetings and certifications.
  • Complete and submit permits to localities.
  • Schedule construction inspections.
  • Assist in hiring of new employees and completion of new-hire paperwork.
  • Receive and inspect incoming packages/shipments.
  • Willingness to learn construction terminology and identify parts.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks running concurrently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail is a must!
  • Experience working in the construction industry preferred.
