Job Summary
The Alarm Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of clients by installing, maintaining, and repairing alarm systems. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills to effectively address client needs and provide reliable solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system design, electrical work, and mechanical knowledge, along with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair various alarm systems including security alarms and camera systems.
  • Conduct system design assessments to tailor solutions for client requirements.
  • Utilize remote access software for troubleshooting and diagnostics of alarm systems.
  • Provide field service support to clients, ensuring timely response to service requests.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations.
  • Perform routine inspections and testing of alarm systems to ensure functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and repairs performed.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in alarm technology.

Skills

  • Proficiency in system design and implementation for alarm systems.
  • Experience as a service technician with a focus on field service operations.
  • Familiarity with remote access software for system monitoring and troubleshooting.

Pay: $24.01 - $26.75 per hour
