We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity for both newly licensed attorneys and attorneys with a few years of experience to gain meaningful courtroom exposure, direct client interaction, and mentorship in a collaborative environment.

Position Overview

The Associate Attorney will work closely with the firm's attorneys on a variety of legal matters while developing their own caseload. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, eager to learn, and committed to providing exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research, Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, contracts, and correspondence
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, depositions, and other legal proceedings
  • Meet with and communicate directly with clients
  • Assist with case strategy and case management
  • Manage assigned files from intake through resolution

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Arkansas, or awaiting Arkansas Bar results with expected licensure
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in civil litigation, probate, real estate, business law, or related practice areas
  • Courtroom experience
  • Familiarity with MyCase or similar case management systems
