Job description

RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Operations

JOB SUMMARY: Perform audiological testing for pediatric and adult patients (age 6 months and older) and perform hearing aid services for pediatric and adult patients. BAHA experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Doctoral degree in audiology from an accredited college or university required
NJ Audiology License required
NJ Hearing Aid Dispensing License required

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Strong clinical skills for pediatric and adult diagnostic testing
Team Player
Ability to develop effective relationships with patients
Ability to conduct tests accurately and efficiently
Neat, professional appearance
Strong written and verbal communication skills and cheerful attitude
Knowledge of practice management and word processing software
Familiarity with billing and coding
Strong hearing aid sales skills

In addition to regular clinical duties, other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Meets with physicians to discuss patient care
Attends team and staff meetings
Performs other permanent and/or temporary duties assigned by manager and/or physicians

Schedule:

8 or 10-hour shift
May need to work in our Holmdel and Manahawkin office on occasion.
Rotational Saturdays will be scheduled for all Audiologists. Weekday off when work Saturday.

Audiologists are eligible for a performance-based incentive plan at the discretion of the practice.
