Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) CONTRACT
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The BCBA's primary responsibilities include assessment of student progress and need for behavior supports, development of interventions such as behavior support plans and skill acquisition programs that are individualized per student. The BCBA works closely and collaborates with classroom staff, families and other clinical and administrative team members. The BCBA is responsible for training staff on implementation of the principles of ABA, as well as providing regular feedback. The BCBA partakes in the prospective student intake process, which includes reviewing record reviews, participating in family interviews, conducting the student assessments, and observing the students at their current placements. The BCBA is expected to ensure ethical standards and will serve as a model of ethical practice for others.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree, preferably in Psychology, Education or related disciplines. Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Three to five years’ experience working with children with Autism/PDD is preferred. One year working as a BCBA.
PHYSICAL DEMAND/WORKING CONDITIONS:
The individual is expected to perform all responsibilities consistently and effectively. Occasionally, the BCBA will be expected to remain after hours for staff meetings and training.
Regular Work Hours: The BCBA’s regular work hours generally shall be from 8:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The school day may be modified.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
