Midcoast Chimney & Masonry is a fast growing Masonry, Chimney Services, and Stove & Hearth Company. Based in Rockport, we are Midcoast Maine's leader for masonry, hearth and fireplace services. We have a highly competitive pay and benefits package. Pay is negotiable depending on experience and will be made up of both a guaranteed hourly wage plus commission on every completed job.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for experienced masons and potentially masonry apprentices/tenders who may be ready to become lead masons. 90% of our work is high-end residential brick and stone work, split up between new construction and repairs. We focus primarily on chimneys and fireplaces, but also often expand into structural stone veneer work of all kinds. We have confirmed masonry projects booked through 2027 and plan to continue expanding our masonry team with experienced lead masons.

This is a full-time, year-round position - we will keep you busy through the winter!

The ideal candidate is a mason with experience re-topping chimneys, building fireplaces, and working with stone veneer. We would consider the right masonry apprentice or tender with solid experience.

Requirements:

Valid Driver’s License (Required)
Must have reliable transportation
Masonry experience with the ability to run a job site with little to no supervision
Comfortable with heights and ladder use
Self-motivated
