We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team on-site in Worcester, MA. You will convert roofing project designs into accurate, high-quality technical drawings using AutoCAD. Your work will directly support our architectural and engineering teams to ensure all project specifications and industry standards are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Transform initial roofing project designs into working documents
  • Produce shop drawings and coordination drawings as required for active projects
  • Utilize AutoCAD to develop precise architectural and engineering plans.
  • Create technical drawings and layouts in compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback or design modifications.
  • Perform additional drafting or design-related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in construction design; commercial construction or roofing industry is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering plans.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with architectural or engineering design principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical information.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Associate degree or certification in Drafting, CAD Technology, or a related field is a plus.
