Client Service Associate for small, growing financial planning firm (Jacksonville Southside)

Our small, but growing financial planning and investment management firm on the Southside of Jacksonville is seeking a client service associate with strong people skills, a pleasant personality, and the proven ability to handle multiple front desk, admin, and back office tasks in a fast-paced environment.

This position reports to our office manager and together they support the work of our five financial planners. We are a drug-free and no-drama workplace with a decidedly Christian atmosphere. Our 39 year-old firm has seen significant growth over the past few years and hopes to continue growing.

Essential Job Functions: Answering multi-line phones and serving our clients' needs with excellence, welcoming prospective and existing clients to our office, scheduling and confirming appointments over the phone and via email using a web-based scheduling system, managing mostly digital paperwork for new accounts and servicing existing accounts, running reports and generating mailings, and using Word and Excel to create letters and simple spreadsheets. Social Media and marketing experience is a plus.

Critical traits for the person in this role include confidentiality, attention to detail, good grammar & spelling, a pleasant and professional attitude, and stability & maturity. Experience in a financial planning office is helpful but not required.

We are open from 9am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday and closed on most holidays. We are open to this person working from home on occasion after becoming fully trained, but this person must be in our office most days. This person would need to be flexible to cover our full office hours when our office manager is out of office. We pay a competitive hourly wage plus paid holidays, paid time off, and a retirement plan with match. We do not currently offer health insurance.
