Full job description
The Role
This role sits at the intersection of:
- Client success
- Data analysis
- Operations
- Sales support
You will work directly with the VERT Performance Lab to support and grow the VERT Team System across hundreds of teams.
This is not a passive “account management” role.
You will be responsible for:
- Making sure programs are successful on the platform
- Turning raw data into actionable insights for coaches
- Helping scale VERT’s systems and processes as we grow
What You’ll OwnClient Success & Account Support
- Manage and support a large portfolio of volleyball programs (clubs, colleges, teams)
- Ensure successful onboarding, adoption, and continued usage of VTS
- Serve as a primary point of contact for performance-related questions
- Identify at-risk accounts and proactively intervene
Data & Performance Insights
- Analyze athlete and team data (jump load, trends, efficiency, etc.)
- Translate complex metrics into clear, actionable insights for coaches
- Support the creation of reports, summaries, and performance recommendations
- Work alongside the Performance Lab to align insights with best practices
CRM & Operations
- Own and maintain CRM accuracy across all VTS accounts
- Track pipeline, usage, renewals, and engagement
- Support systems that allow VERT to scale to hundreds of programs without breaking
Sales Support & Forecasting
- Assist in sales forecasting and pipeline tracking
- Run and contribute to weekly VERT Team System sales reviews
- Work cross-functionally with leadership and sales coordinators to align on growth
Events & Travel
- Attend select events, clinics, and qualifiers
- Support on-site activation, onboarding, and client relationships
What We’re Looking For
- Highly organized and detail-oriented (this is non-negotiable)
- Strong analytical mindset — comfortable working with data and identifying trends
- Ability to translate data into simple, useful insights
- Excellent communication skills (especially with coaches and athletes)
- Comfortable managing a high volume of accounts and moving parts
- Self-starter who takes ownership and solves problems without constant direction
- Interest in sports performance, technology, and athlete development
Preferred Background
- Volleyball experience (playing, coaching, or performance-related)
- Experience with data analysis (Excel/Google Sheets or similar)
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Background in sports science, kinesiology, or related field

- A passive customer support role
- A “check-in once a quarter” account manager job
