Commercial Roofing Foreman

Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership
· Lead and coach roofing crews to install commercial roof systems safely and efficiently
· Assign work strategically based on crew skills and job requirements
· Manage workflow of crew and subcontractors to meet production and quality goals
· Perform installation duties as needed
Project & Site Management
· Examine roofs and penetrations to plan jobs; ensure watertight conditions at end of each day
· Solve field application problems with minimal supervision; escalate when necessary
· Manage job sites, equipment, materials, and safety compliance daily
· Inspect PPE and safety equipment before each shift; conduct and document weekly safety meetings
Documentation & Administration
· Document and track RFIs (Requests for Information), ensuring timely resolution with the operations team and design professionals
· Prepare and submit change orders for scope additions or unforeseen conditions
· Coordinate with the Commercial Operations Manager to ensure accurate and timely project billing, including end-of-month and end-of-job invoicing
· Log all job comments, photographs, and records in Acculynx daily
· Review and approve crew timecards daily; requisition materials and maintain accurate equipment reports
Customer Service
· Deliver excellent customer service; honor customer-specific requests and concerns
· Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding work and personnel matters
Required Qualifications
· Duro-Last experience
· OSHA 10-hour card and valid driver's license
· Ability to read and interpret written instructions, OSHA regulations, work documents, and cloud-based CRM systems
· Strong decision-making, crew leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
· OSHA 30-hour card
· Forklift, man lift, or roof system-specific training
Certifications Required: Fall Arrest, CPR, Aerial Lift Training
Physical Requirements Frequent heavy lifting (25+ lbs), bending, and work on irregular surfaces. Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the described essential functions.
Pay: $30.04 - $36.17 per hour
