Construction Field Inspector

The Construction Technician I supports all phases of projects and quality efforts from inception through production both in new product and in existing product. As a Construction Technician, you may be required to work on the job site and/or in the project office.

Key Result Area #1: Project Support

• Develops technical project reports and technical memorandums
• Assist with development of project work plans
• Assist in cost estimating

Key Result Area #2: Quality Assurance

• Maintains records or oversees recording of information by others to ensure engineering drawings and documents are current and that engineering-related production problems and resolutions are documented.
• Assist with quality control plans
• Inspections to ensure that it complies with plans, specifications, health and safety guidelines
• Assure the quality control plans are followed
• Assist with quality control process for submittals

Key Result Area #3: Project Management Support

• Support efforts to develop and maintain project work plans

Communicate on task status and support internal project communication

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum 1 year relevant experience to this industry
• Transportation Experience

Preferred Education and Experience

• Associates Degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience with Microstation
• Experience Field Manager
• Experience with Aastroware

Additional safety and certifications are encouraged!

Base Pay: $22.00 - $44.00 per hour
