Construction Superintendent

Seeking experienced applicants for an Environmental Construction Superintendent. Responsibilities for this position includes regular site visits and assistance to project managers on multiple projects for commercial Renovation, Demolition and Remediation construction projects throughout western and central NY. Applicants will be working with our project management team and should have good problem solving ability and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand all bid specification documents
• Read and understand architectural blue prints/drawings
• Oversee multiple projects, crews, & subcontractors
• Communicate with General Contractors, subcontractors, & project teams
• Track Labor, Equipment, and Material use and costs
• Understand project logistics and project schedule
• Consult suppliers & subcontractors for pricing, equipment & materials
• Attend project meetings

Qualifications

• Preferred Five (5+) Years Experience in Asbestos Abatement
• Preferred Five (5+) Years Experience in Construction
• Ability to read & understand Construction Drawings & Specifications
• Proficient Computer Skills
• Preferred Experienced with Construction in Public Sector & Municipalities
• Preferred Demolition, Asbestos, or Hazardous Material Experience

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
