Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Construction Technician. In this role, you will work as part of a crew responsible for the construction, installation, and maintenance of underground telecommunications utility systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the telecommunications and construction industry. No prior experience is required—training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optic cable
- Perform basic tasks related to trenching, digging, and placement of conduit and cable
- Support underground utility locating to ensure safe excavation practices
- Operate hand tools and basic construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow all company procedures, safety guidelines, and industry regulations
- Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors to complete projects on time
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Participate in on-the-job training to develop skills in fiber optics, utility construction, and equipment operation
