Control Panel Wiring (Wirer)

ASC is looking for a Electrical Panel Assembler of industrial panels in a UL508A Panel Shop. On the job training available. These duties will include but not be limited to panel and sub-components wiring. www.as-controls.com

THIS POSITION REQUIRES STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Electrical tasks such as cutting, stripping and crimping cables/wires and selecting electrical components
• Read & understand electrical layout drawings
• Capable of performing projects in a fast paced environment
• Wire control panels and instrument panels from schematic and mechanical panel layouts. Mounting, wiring and labeling panels.
• Must be able to readily identify parts from Bill of Materials.
• Responsible for adhering to all ASC's safety standards and practices
• Continually improve personal knowledge regarding control panel components
• Document parts, changes, and procedures as needed to aid in the manufacturing process.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements: Essential Functions/Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, stoop and or kneel for extended periods of time.
• Strong gross and fine motor skills, manual dexterity and endurance of the arms/hands is required to wire large panels. Repetitive motion is involved.

Experience Requested

• Experience working in industrial manufacturing/panel environment, utilizing equipment wiring and industrial control panel wiring experience.
• ASC offers hands on training programs for employees

Education/Knowledge

• Basic Electrical/Electronic knowledge is preferred.
• Vocational High School or Trade school preferred.
• UL 508A control panel experience is a plus

• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.

Salary: $17.00 -$28.00 per hour
