Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and detail-oriented Prep/Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food according to recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized work station. You’ll work as part of a fast-paced kitchen team to deliver consistently excellent dishes.

Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and cook food items on the line according to standardized recipes.
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before and during service.
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet restaurant standards.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food storage and cleanliness.
  • Communicate effectively with chefs, kitchen staff, and servers.
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing the kitchen and equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Manage prep work for the next day’s service.
  • Monitor food inventory and report low stock levels to the kitchen manager or chef.
  • Comply with portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook (1+ years preferred).
  • Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and techniques.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
  • Food handler’s permit or certification (as required by local health regulations).
