Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and assemble meals using proper food handling and safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food service areas in accordance with health regulations
• Serve meals efficiently while ensuring presentation quality and customer satisfaction
• Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and managing timely delivery
• Handle food with care, utilizing knife skills and culinary techniques to ensure consistency and quality
• Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, sanitation practices, and allergen management
• Clean all dishes and utensils daily and as needed throughout the day
• Unload trucks and stock inventory

Qualifications

• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a food service or restaurant setting
• Knowledge of menu planning, food handling, and kitchen operations in the food industry
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with culinary techniques for diverse meal preparation
• Experience with catering services or large-scale food service is a plus
• Demonstrated commitment to food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
• ServSafe certification
