URGENT HIRING
The Dental Specialist role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and efficient digital dental case data entry into the laboratory's management system. The individual will handle digital impressions and patient details from digital dental scanners like iTero and Trios, ensuring all data is processed and stored correctly.
Duties
- Data Entry: Accurately enter and manage digital dental case data, including impressions and patient details, ensuring precision in all entries.
- Digital Case Management: Review and verify digital cases for completeness and accuracy before processing. Prioritize cases according to deadlines and urgency.
- Quality Assurance: Perform regular data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of entered data. Report any inconsistencies or errors to the Digital Data Entry Manager.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with production and technical teams to ensure seamless transition and accuracy of digital case data. Address any issues in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain comprehensive and organized digital records of all cases, ensuring data is updated and retrievable for future reference.
- Process Improvement: Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to enhance the digital data entry processes, increasing efficiency and reducing potential for errors.
Qualifications:
This role requires previous hands-on experience in the dental field. Candidates must have experience working in a dental office, dental laboratory, or related clinical dental environment (such as Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, or similar roles). Applications without dental industry experience will not be considered.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher in dental hygiene, dental assisting, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience of 2+ years in a dental office, laboratory, or related environment,
- Proficiency in using dental management software; strong computer skills including data entry, spreadsheet management, and basic troubleshooting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in technical support, data entry and case management.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and address issues as they arise.
- Understanding of quality assurance processes and ability to conduct quality checks.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies in processes and contribute to process improvements.
- Familiarity with dental laboratory procedures and workflows.
