Die Set-Up Technician

SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting the Molding Technicians by performing mold changes, plate pulls, machine purging, assist with start-ups, scrap material handling as well as other duties assigned by supervision.

$18-19/hour

Shifts Available:

2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm M-F (plus $.70/ hr. shift differential)

3rd shift: 11:00pm- 7:30am Sun-Th (plus $.70/ hr. shift differential)

The following shifts run on a 2-2-3 day schedule including weekends:

A shift: 7am-7pm

C and D shift: 7pm-7am (plus $.50/ hr. shift differential)

What you will do as a Die Setter and equipment/tools will use:

· Use a die cart/power industrial equipment to move mold to a machine.

· Use overhead crane system to lift mold into place between plates.

· Use open end/box wrenches to connect ejector rod from machine to mold.

· Use torque wrench to tighten bolts that will hold mold in place.

· Connect water lines to mold and check for water flow.

· Connect hot runner controller cables to mold and controller unit.

· Do plate pulls, purge machines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.25 - $20.25 per hour
