Dishwasher

Curio Wine Bistro and Bar, located in Downtown Fredericksburg, is opening a new full-service restaurant and is seeking dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented dishwashers to join our opening team.

Curio will offer a thoughtfully curated dining experience centered around elevated food and wine pairings, alongside classic cocktails and craft beer. Behind every great service is a strong kitchen support team, and we are looking for individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.

The ideal candidate works well under pressure, stays organized during busy shifts, and understands the importance of cleanliness, urgency, and teamwork in a professional kitchen environment.

This is a part-time position averaging approximately 10–25 hours per week, with evening and weekend availability strongly preferred.

Essential Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area, kitchen floors, drains, trash stations, and storage areas
• Assist with trash removal, recycling, and end-of-night cleaning responsibilities
• Support kitchen staff with cleaning tasks and basic prep support as needed
• Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies throughout service
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards at all times
• Work efficiently to support both front-of-house and back-of-house operations during busy service periods

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States
• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to safely handle wet floors, heavy racks, hot water, and cleaning chemicals
• Ability to navigate stairs repeatedly throughout shifts; Curio operates across multiple floors
• Reliable transportation required
