Job Duties

  • Consulting with clients to discuss behavioral concerns and training needs.
  • Developing suitable training plans for dogs and documenting their progress
  • Identifying additional behavioral concerns and communicating them to clients.

You will 100% be working with aggressive dogs at some point. If either of these makes you uncomfortable, you will not be a good fit for this position.
  • This is a direct customer facing role, involving teaching, coaching and explaining,
  • This career choice can be physically demanding. One must be able to handle large and/or strong dogs.
  • This position involves training (some) working dogs for protection dog clients and Police K9’s.
  • A strong candidate will have a background in sales, direct customer interactions, basic canine psychology, strong social/verbal/written skills, and an outgoing personality.
  • No dog training experience required - however, candidates must prove they are willing and able to learn new things in both a classroom environment and on the go in the field.
  • The ideal personality is someone who is a self-starter, who needs little to no supervision.
