Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage various types of cargo. We have ongoing projects throughout the NRV.

Duties

Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as soil, gravel, and construction debris, heavy equipment and job materials.
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Follow designated routes for delivery and pick-up while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with site managers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities transported and any incidents that occur during transit.
Assist with loading/unloading using equipment when necessary.

Experience

Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with dump trucks or similar vehicles.
Familiarity with flatbed operations, route driving, and commercial driving regulations.
Experience operating heavy equipment and tractor-trailers is a plus.
Ability to load and unload materials safely, demonstrating knowledge of weight limits and cargo securing techniques.
A valid commercial driver's license (CDL B minimum) is required.
Previous experience as a dump truck driver is advantageous.
