Electrician

This position is for an Industrial/Commercial Electrician with opportunity in the North MS area. Duties and Responsibilities: Install switch gear and other electrical components; Install wiring, electrical fixtures and control equipment such as relays, and circuit breaker panels; Install lighting panels and switches; Bend conduit; Read/Interpret designs and drawings; Recognize and report hazards; Apply safe work methods.

Preferred Skills: Preform LED lighting changes and retrofits, troubleshoot and repair motor controls and estimate projects for bidding. Should have thorough knowledge of the NEC; Knowledge of effective use of proper lock out/tag out equipment; Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, tape measure, grinders and saws; Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations; Must be able to read, interpret and follow written and/or oral instructions; Must be able to safely move and relocate heavy objects; Must be able to work at heights exceeding 6 feet.
