Job Description:

Nyle Water Heating Systems (NWHS), a fully owned subsidiary of Nyle Systems, is looking for an experienced Embedded Controls Engineer.

This is an in-person position for a candidate who can apply his/her knowledge in engineering principles to design and maintain software and hardware controls for electrical devices used in Heat Pump Water Heaters and cutting-edge, High Temperature Heat Pumps. As NWHS is currently transitioning from PLC to Integrated Controls, this candidate must be able to work with both PLC’s and also possess the skills to do programming in C and Python.

You will:

  • Design, develop, modify, test, and support code for Integrated Controls based software and firmware.
  • Modify, test, and support code for legacy PLC based controls.
  • Develop clear technical documentation for the developed heat pump controls.
  • Support the service department with technical questions and assist with service calls.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a project team.

You will be part of a great team with several years of experience in the field.

Job Requirements and qualifications:

  • Experience with C and Python is a must.
  • At least three years of experience.
  • Experience with PLC controls, ladder logic or Structured control language preferred.
  • Networking experience is preferred

  • Team player with independent thinking mindset
