Full job description
Basic Function
Responsible for enrolling families into the program and ensures agency is accountable to standards and regulations set by California Department of Education, CDD Division, California Child Care Food Program, Community Care Licensing, EES policies and relevant funding sources.
Enroll families by priorities set by CA. Department of Education utilizing internal waiting list.
Assist families overcome enrollment obstacles families face with the physical, immunization and TB test requirements. as well as acquisition for social service documentation requirements such as homelessness, CPS, parent incapacity, and assist families maneuver through the maze of available and affordable health and social service resources in their community.
Ensure each family is given resources at the time of enrollment and as needed.
Keep all confidential files filed in an organized manner in a secure location.
Maintain EES’ internal waiting list.
Contact site(s) when new children are enrolling to ensure ample time for orientation.
Contact family for needed documentation, fee payment, change in services or termination. Follow EES’ policies and procedures when collecting, depositing and reporting family fees.
Contact family and site when family has a change in contract days and/or hours.
Ensure all families have completed current certification.

Education/Training
Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Knowledge of Child Development regulations set by CA. Department of Education, Child Care Food Program and Community Care Licensing preferred.
Experience
Bookkeeping experience preferred.
Certifications/Licenses
Complete and pass physical and negative TB test.
Annual proof of influenza vaccine (or a statement declining)
Proof of pertussis and measles immunizations
Fingerprint and Criminal Record clearance required. FBI and child abuse index.
Valid Drivers License and Proof of Current Insurance
Must have reliable transportation to travel to various sites
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
Child development center environment, position may require maintaining physical condition necessary for walking, bending, sitting on the floor, standing for long periods of time and lifting children and materials as necessary.
The daily environment will require extensive standing, bending at the waist, squatting, up and down movement with your legs, crawling, kneeling, twisting, walking, lifting, reaching above and below shoulders, climbing and jumping. There will be physical activities performed with the children that include jumping jacks, running, etc.
There will be times you may be performing work under stressful conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 per hour
