Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)

Namay Dentistry is looking for an EFDA!
Pay range is $28.00-$37.00/hour, based on experience

Performance Expectations:

• Effective communication and accurate patient education.
• Establish trust and care in all patient interactions.
• Excellent chair-side assisting in four-handed dentistry.
• Design/fabricate high quality aesthetic direct and indirect restorations.
• Acquire clear, diagnostic quality digital radiographs using Dexis software.
• Organize treatment within CareStack and communicate needs accurately/effectively with Team members.

Non-Essential Functions:

• Remain focused on a positive patient experience while preforming job tasks.
• Assist in other areas of work involving Namay Dentistry.
• Train other Team members if/when necessary.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism when exposed to stress or adversity.
• Skilled use of standard office equipment.

Success Patterns for this position are:

• 1-3 years of EFDA experience in an office dedicated to a high Standard of Care.
• 1-3 years experience with CEREC Technology.
• A reputation for excellent demeanor with patients and colleagues.
• Experience working efficiently and contributing as a Team member.

Qualifications:

• Current Ohio EFDA License

Work Week Patient Hours:

Monday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Tuesday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Wednesday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Fridays: 7:00 am - 2:00 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
