Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The Food Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a passion for hospitality and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food safety and guest service.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Assist in bussing tables and ensuring cleanliness throughout the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and presentation.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests with inquiries.
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for events or peak service times.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards.
• Experience with POS systems for order tracking is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on guest interaction and satisfaction.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help colleagues as needed.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques is beneficial.

Pay: $16.35 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
