Framing Carpenter – Modular Construction

Bill Lake Modular Homes is seeking a Framing Carpenter to join our expert modular construction team in Sprakers, NY. In this hands-on role, you’ll be integral in crafting the framing structures of our precision-built homes—assembling floors, walls, and trusses that form the backbone of our residential projects. We’re looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to grow their carpentry career with a company that values craftsmanship, integrity, and team success.

What You’ll Do:

• Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to plan framing layouts.
• Measure, mark, cut, and assemble lumber using hand and pneumatic tools.
• Frame floor systems, walls, and roof trusses accurately to specifications.
• Erect structures safely and efficiently.
• Anticipate and troubleshoot issues based on framing design.
• Maintain quality craftsmanship and adhere to construction best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with team members across departments.

What You Bring:

• 1+ years of carpentry or construction experience (preferred but not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic with consistent attendance and reliability.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights using ladders or scaffolding.
• Valid driver’s license (preferred).
• Personal hand tools (preferred).
