Full job description
We are looking for a positive, energetic, and self-motivated individual to join our team at Louisiana Oral & Implant surgery as a front office coordinator!
Primary responsibilities:
Greeting and checking in patients, answering telephones, gathering information from patients upon patient arrival, conducting patient insurance verification, scheduling and confirming appointments, receiving patient payments, coordinating care with and communicating with dental and medical offices, maintaining appearance and order of oral surgery office.
Personal Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prefer previous experience at dental/medical office.
Recent graduates of dental assisting programs welcome to apply.
Working knowledge of computers for Microsoft Office, patient scheduling, and records management. Excellent typing skills required.
Highly motivated, flexible, organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Hours:
Full-time: Monday – Thursday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Fridays 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Off for major holidays.
Salary:
Compensation commensurate with experience.
