Front Office Manager
Location: Anderson, Indiana
Position Type: Full-Time
About Our School
We are a growing K–2 public charter school in Anderson committed to academic excellence, strong relationships, and restorative practices. Our front office is the heart of our school, and we are seeking a highly organized, friendly, and professional individual to serve as our Front Office Manager.
Position Summary
The Front Office Manager serves as the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and community partners. This individual plays a critical role in setting the tone of the school by creating a welcoming, efficient, and organized front office environment. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, technologically proficient, and able to manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism and grace.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist parents, students, visitors, and community partners in a warm and professional manner
- Manage front desk operations including phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
- Maintain student records and confidential documents with accuracy
- Coordinate student attendance tracking and reporting
- Support enrollment processes and family communication
- Manage scheduling, appointments, and school calendars
- Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Assist school leadership and teachers with administrative tasks
- Maintain office organization, supplies, and filing systems
- Support communication between families, faculty, and community partners
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Google Drive and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Gmail)
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Professional demeanor with a friendly, approachable presence
- Experience working in a school or customer-facing environment preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately=

Starting Salary
- Annual salary starts at $38,000
