HCBS Program Director

Gulf Coast Social Services Lake Charles Region is hiring a full time HCBS Program Director for home and community based programs. The ideal candidate will possess good verbal, written and interpersonal skills, good judgment, initiative, dependability, sound decision making skills, the ability to handle multiple responsibilities, strong organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to prioritize work and meet multiple deadlines.

The HCBS Program Director is responsible to the Regional Director for the fiscal and operational management of the Personal Care Attendant and Supervised Independent Living Programs, as well as Private Pay, PCA Contract and VA programs. The Director will contribute to the Organization’s mission through demonstrated skills in program management and operations, budget development and accountability, personnel management, client advocacy and public relations.

This position requires a Master’s Degree in a related field or a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in human services. This position requires demonstrated abilities in program management and operations, the development of sound, behaviorally based treatment programs, program management, personnel management, development and implementation of training for staff and clients and counseling, and adherence to ethical/ professional standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,500.00 - $42,000.00 per year
