Full job description

We are looking to hire one full time Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at RPM Metals in Wind Gap, PA. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be tasked with running a variety of machines based on current yard needs, and your ability to safely operate said machine. These machines consist of Wheeled Material Handlers with grapples, Shear Excavator, Excavator with SAS attachments. PREVIOUS EXCAVATOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Pay is based on experience and work ethic. Using these machines, we process recycled metals by dismantling them, feeding them through our metal shredder, and then loading them into trucks or containers to be sold. Average weekly hours is 40 but overtime is a possibility for eligible employees. Employees must show up to work on time and be ready to work by 7:00am. Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm, possibility of Saturday 7:00am-11:30pm for eligible employees. Company paid uniforms, PTO accrual and health insurance options available after 90 days of employment. Mid-year and end of year reviews which will come with pay increase/bonus for eligible employees based off of overall work ethic and attendance.
