Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to assist in construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other machinery safely and efficiently across various construction sites.
• Prepare and level sites by using dozers and loaders to move earth, gravel, or other materials as required for project specifications.
• Load and unload materials
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use; perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and team members.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks effectively

Skills

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, and front loader trucks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Construction site experience with an understanding of safety standards and operational procedures.
• Familiarity with farm machinery and other specialized equipment used in construction environments.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating tasks effectively within a team environment.
