Full job description

LOOKING FOR A LONG TERM CAREER? YOU WILL LOVE SECURITY HOME INSPECTIONS, YOUR COLLEAGUES AND THE INDUSTRY

Security Home Inspections, Inc. is the leading home inspection company in the Midwest and we are looking for motivated individuals with strong communication skills to join our team to service the Indianapolis and surrounding area. We are a successful and always growing Carmel based home inspection company that has been in business since 1984.

We offer a welcoming work environment, competitive wages, fantastic training, great benefits including company supplied trucks for each inspector, and the best co-workers in the region. Home inspectors evaluate new or previously owned houses to determine the condition of the home's systems and structure. They often work for prospective home buyers who want to know about potential problems in advance. You would be examining structural quality, home systems and features including roofing, exterior, attached garage or carport, foundation, interior, plumbing, electrical, and heating and cooling systems.

This job can require the inspector to work outside and access tight areas for portions of the job. Inspectors should tolerate all elements and seasons and be able enter small spaces, walk on roofs, and get from one location to another efficiently.

Strong communication skills including oral and written are a must.
