Full job description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including employee relations, bilingual English/Spanish, highly organized, can work independently, and maintains confidentiality. Duties and responsibilities include daily payroll management and administration, new hire administration, maintaining files, databases, and records of personnel, benefits, and time data. The Payroll Specialist will also assist in various plant-wide meetings, professionally represent Mountain Country Foods within the front office, and work alongside others in the Human Resource office.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests & vendors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls in both English and Spanish.
- Manage and administer daily payroll processing.
- Assist with new employee onboarding.
- Maintain confidentiality in all HR and office matters.
- Maintain files, databases, records of personnel, benefits, and time data.
- Order and maintain office supplies, keep offices organized and well-stocked.
- Follow SQF and GMP guidelines
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree OR 3 years of experience in related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English & Spanish.
- Previous experience in a payroll, receptionist, or administrative role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
