Himes Service Company has openings for Industrial Maintenance Service Technicians. HSC is the premier service company for installing, repairing and maintaining recycling equipment at customers’ locations, nationwide. We are looking for career-minded employees in a growing Industry! Extensive travel is required!
Himes pays all travel expenses and supplies company tools and PPE. Skills and Qualifications
- Do you have basic mechanical, electrical or hydraulic systems experience?
- Do you have skill to read and use electrical and hydraulic prints?
- Do you have welding skills?
- Do you use analytical skills to troubleshoot equipment problems?
- Do you want to work over 40 hours a week…maybe 50 to 70 to have a larger paycheck?
- Are you results driven…getting the job done right and timely?
- Will you communicate with customers and maintain accurate records by completing all paper work?
- Are you legally allowed to work in the United States?
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, utilizing analysis skills to diagnose problems accurately.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to guide maintenance tasks.
- Execute welding tasks as needed, adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and maintain a safe working environment.
- Document maintenance activities and report on equipment performance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week

Experience:
- Basic Electrical: 2 years (Required)
- Industrial maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
- Welding: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical troubleshooting: 2 years (Required)
- Maintenance: 2 years (Required)
- Schematics or blueprints: 2 years (Required)
- Hydraulics: 1 year (Required)
