POSITION SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales Representative supports the sales team by preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with vendors, distributors, and outside sales representatives. This role is essential in ensuring smooth sales operations, accurate order fulfillment, and strong internal and external relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete customer quotes accurately and in a timely manner
- Create, process, and track sales orders from entry through fulfillment
- Develop and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with vendors and master distributors
- Assist the sales team in achieving individual and company sales targets
- Work closely with outside sales representatives to support customer needs and opportunities
- Handle purchasing activities, including sourcing products and confirming availability
- Issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure proper documentation
- Assist with coordinating orders, deliveries, and timelines
- Communicate with vendors, distributors, and internal teams to resolve order issues
- Provide general administrative support and assist with office duties as needed
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of all orders
- Ensure all invoice documentation is filed and tracked
- Works professionally with corporate level accounting to ensure that invoicing is done accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive experience in Sales
- Proven work experience as a sales representative
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
- A commitment to customer service
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers and suppliers
- Experience using computers in various tasks.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
Pay is DOE.
