Small Business Expo is Seeking Strong Inside B2B Sales Executives to Sell Exhibit Booth Space, Sponsorships & Advertising for National Business to Business Trade Shows

You will be reaching out to Marketing Directors, CMO's, CEOs and decision makers at Business to Business related companies that offer products/services for Small Businesses.

We are celebrating 18 YEARS! We have over 1 Million Followers and host national events in 17 Major US cities. Thousands of business owners & entrepreneurs attend each of our shows. We are an INC5000 company and rated in the TOP 1% of over 25,000 trade shows by TSNN.

COMPENSATION:

$50,000 Base Salary + 7% Commission on sales (no caps) + Sales Contests + Health Benefits & Perks

  • 1st year sales person - Average total comp package = $80,000-100,000+
  • 2nd year sales person - Average total comp package = $95,000-135,000+
  • 3rd year & beyond - Average total comp package = $110,000-175,000+

Founded in 2008, we host LIVE/IN-PERSON shows across the Country in major Small Business Hubs - adding new cities every year.

We are seeking strong Sales Closers who like to make a lot of money to sell Exhibitor Space, Advertising & Sponsorship for the SMALL BUSINESS EXPO trade shows that we produce in all of the major US Cities.

THE POSITION:

THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION. Monday through Friday 9AM-5PM.

You are selling Exhibitor Space & Sponsorship for our shows all year long (we currently produce 17 shows throughout the year and add new cities each year).

Location: Remote, work from home

No Travel required (however, if you enjoy traveling, you are able to attend some of our shows at our Expense!)

Start Date: Mid-March (somewhat flexible)

We are searching for candidates with the following skills:

  • Strong closers that want to make a lot of money!
  • Strong negotiating & persuasion skills
  • A true hunter mentality - we provide excellent tools for you to find great leads, but you need to be able to get to the right person and work fast. Our sales cycle is quick and you should be excellent with reading the prospect and moving on if you feel they are not interested.
  • Able to multi-task, managing appointments, follow ups, proposals, sending contracts. It's a very busy day and you have to be able to move quickly.
  • Strong Lead Researcher (you are responsible for finding most of your leads)
  • Strong phone and writing skills
  • Superb follow-up, aggressive and great at building business relationships
  • Excellent with Lead Sourcing online (Google, LinkedIn, Seamless.ai, etc)
  • A knowledge of trade shows is a big plus
  • We are looking for loyalty - we want this individual to want to stay with us for a long time and build a career with us. We are not looking for people that jump around between jobs.
  • Team mentality - able to work well with others in a competitive sales environment.

The following skills are REQUIRED:

  • CRM Experience (we use Hubspot. Knowledge of Hubspot or another similar CRM is NOT required but a huge plus)
  • Excellent with sourcing leads on Google & Linkedin Sales Navigator
  • Knowledge of Seamless.AI is a plus
  • Excellent typing & computer skills is required (especially emailing & Google Docs)
  • Quick to get to the next call & hungry to make sales
  • Great phone & video presence, persuasive, stickler for following up, always closing attitude
  • You must have a strong home internet connection and reliable computer (we do not provide these) and a quiet place to work free from distraction.
