Installation Technician

We are seeking an Installation Technician to join our team at Fireside. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various types of fireplaces and other hearth appliances in mostly residential settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and is looking to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chimney maintenance and repair, but we are ready to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Inspecting chimneys and fireplaces to identify any issues or potential hazards
• Sweeping chimneys to remove creosote buildup and other debris
• Troubleshoot and repair systems as needed
• Install new chimneys and fireplaces as needed
• Provide customers with recommendations for improving the safety and efficiency of their chimney systems
• Work with office staff to ensure customer needs are all met

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
