Countertop Installer
The Designer Stone Company, located in Port Washington, Ohio, is looking for Granite & Quartz Countertop Installers to join our team.

Successful candidates operate daily in a professional manner, will have excellent time management skills, be able to follow company procedures, have the ability to learn and complete jobs per direction of managers, have a clear driving record as well as able to pass a full background check, including pre-employment drug screen.

Starting Wage for Qualified Installers is $25 per hour with scheduled increases!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Installation/onsite finish work of Stone Countertops, Back splashes (and sinks as needed) at customer jobsites
Complete minor repair work onsite
Ensure cleanliness of work area during and after installation of product
Providing professional, courteous service to our customers at the job site as well as in shop/showroom environments
Complete all required documentation/paperwork (Including pictures) for each job daily
Complete Both Pre and Post trip logs for company vehicles each day
Work within a team setting
Follow/execute work orders with minimal supervision
As needed/directed, safely operate company box truck and keep clean/organized after each trip
Ensure safety of self and team members by following work rules and procedures
Based on work schedule, will be required to provide coverage in other areas of the business when needed such as polishing, moving inventory, etc.

Requirements:

Valid Driver's license with clear driving record
Must be able to safely travel in company vehicles to customer jobsites all over the state of Ohio and occasionally just into surrounding states.
Experience in General Contracting/Construction (Countertop Install experience a plus)
Must have the ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers and internal team members (Both verbally and in writing)
Must be able to take measurements using various tools.
Must be able to carry/lift up to 100lbs, utilizing team lift and tools as appropriate
Must be at least 18yrs old

Work Hours: Start time7AM- Until Completion of daily job schedule, Monday - Friday. Overtime, including weekends may be required based on business needs. *NOTE: End time may vary and is subject to change day to day.

Pre-Employment drug screen, background and motor vehicle check are required.
