Position Profile: Inventory and Material Material
Reports To: Chief Operations Officer

Your Responsibilities:
- Understanding of inventory management practices
- Receive, unload, inventory, and stock incoming material
- Prepare and package customer orders for shipping, including preparing and printing mailing labels and packing lists
- Communicate with customers regarding order and shipping status
- Coordinate equipment distribution
- Conduct quarterly inventory cycle count, and assist with monthly and quarterly reporting
- Manage online shopping cart and inventory systems (user and administrator interfaces)
- Assist with attendee registrations for trainings, events, and conferences
- Assist with preparing for and participating in educational and promotional activities/events
- Ability to travel to organizational events when necessary
- Work in a cohesive, high-performing team environment to advance traffic safety throughout the state
- Assist with other responsibilities as necessary
What You Will Bring to Safer:
- Proficient in use of personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures
- Proven work experience in warehouse operations, inventory specialist, or similar role
- Effective communicator, both written and oral
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Self-starter and team player who takes initiative to help improve the organization
- Knowledge of WASP Barcode Technologies a plus
Working Conditions:
- At times, work requires moderate to medium physical effort, and handling of objects up to 50 pounds.
- Safety equipment will be provided, and you are expected to understand and practice safe lifting techniques.
