Position Profile: Inventory and Material Material

Reports To: Chief Operations Officer

Your Responsibilities:

• Understanding of inventory management practices
• Receive, unload, inventory, and stock incoming material
• Prepare and package customer orders for shipping, including preparing and printing mailing labels and packing lists
• Communicate with customers regarding order and shipping status
• Coordinate equipment distribution
• Conduct quarterly inventory cycle count, and assist with monthly and quarterly reporting
• Manage online shopping cart and inventory systems (user and administrator interfaces)
• Assist with attendee registrations for trainings, events, and conferences
• Assist with preparing for and participating in educational and promotional activities/events
• Ability to travel to organizational events when necessary
• Work in a cohesive, high-performing team environment to advance traffic safety throughout the state
• Assist with other responsibilities as necessary

What You Will Bring to Safer:

• Proficient in use of personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures
• Proven work experience in warehouse operations, inventory specialist, or similar role
• Effective communicator, both written and oral
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Self-starter and team player who takes initiative to help improve the organization
• Knowledge of WASP Barcode Technologies a plus

Working Conditions:

• At times, work requires moderate to medium physical effort, and handling of objects up to 50 pounds.
• Safety equipment will be provided, and you are expected to understand and practice safe lifting techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
