Responsibilities:

Inventory Maintenance:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against invoices and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of the overall inventory holding areas.
  • Perform routine inventory cycles to ensure accuracy of stock.

Physical Inventory Processing:

  • Play a vital role in the preparation and processing of physical inventory.
  • Collaborate with team members to accurately record inventory levels and update databases or systems accordingly.
  • Implement efficient stock rotation practices to minimize product expiration and waste.

Merchandising Support:

  • Assist in generating and analyzing merchandising reports to optimize inventory levels.
  • Work closely with the merchandising to ensure products are appropriately stocked and presented.

Cleanliness and Organization:

  • Implement and uphold standard operating procedures for inventory cleanliness and organization to ensure efficient stock retrieval and enhance overall operational efficiency.

  • Ability to meticulously inspect and record stock and inventory data with precision.

Organizational Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly inventory system.

  • Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced work environments.

  • Effective communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Previous experience in inventory management or related field is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
