Irrigation Technician

Job Summary:
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Irrigation Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential and commercial irrigation systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience, solid problem-solving skills, and can work independently in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on irrigation systems (valves, timers, wiring, pumps, heads, etc.)
• Install new systems or modify existing systems according to layout plans
• Conduct system checks to ensure proper operation and water efficiency
• Locate and repair leaks, broken lines, and faulty valves
• Program and adjust irrigation controllers and timers
• Communicate effectively with customers about issues, repairs, and system use
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Adhere to company safety procedures and local water regulations

Qualifications:

• Prior irrigation or landscaping experience preferred
• Familiarity with irrigation system components and tools
• Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather conditions
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
