Looking for a team player to fill a industrial janitorial opening.

We are looking for an individual who shares our focus on cleanliness and wants to help us maintain our first class facility.

This janitorial position entails general cleanup of our production areas at the end of the production day. There would also be light housekeeping in the offices at the facility. Hours can be adjusted to meet the needs of the employee, but for the most part must occur during late afternoon and into the evening so cleaning can be done without interruptions caused by the production process.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Sweeping under and around machinery. Collecting debris that may have gathered during the production process. Keeping machinery and work areas free of dust and grime. Operating lift trucks to empty sawdust bins or move obstacles. Light housekeeping (dusting, sweeping, and mopping in offices and employee breakroom. Generally adding the polish needed to make Horizon look like the standout that it is!

To be considered for this laborer position the applicant should be:

Able to stand, twist, and bend throughout the shift
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Able to tolerate some temperature extremes as there is some outdoor work involved
Able to maintain basic mechanical ability
Able to adhere to all safety and housekeeping regulations
Able to communicate effectively and be a good team player
Have a solid understanding of basic janitorial skills and, ideally, have some background in the field
