Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and restaurant management, with a strong focus on training development and team leadership. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food production, inventory control, and overall kitchen efficiency. Duties
- Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing training and development to enhance their skills and performance.
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste.
- Coordinate banquet services and special events, ensuring that all food service meets the highest standards.
- Implement health and safety regulations within the kitchen to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus that reflect seasonal offerings and customer preferences.
- Conduct interviews for new kitchen staff, fostering a positive team culture while ensuring the right fit for our culinary team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or as a Kitchen Manager in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques, including preparation methods for various cuisines.
- Experience with inventory control systems and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
