Full job description

IMMEDIATE OPENING

The Lockport Housing Authority is seeking a LABORER responsible for performing a variety of duties in maintaining its grounds and facilities.

Duties will include:

  • Lawn maintenance including the operation of commercial mowers, trimmers, and other power tools.
  • General custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Snow removal including the operation of snow blowers and shoveling.
  • Emptying garbage and refuse disposal including the removal of furniture, appliances, and other debris.
  • Assist other maintenance personnel in preparation for apartment renovations.
  • Other duties as required.

The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. Previous experience with commercial lawn equipment, custodial duties, and general maintenance preferred.'
