Position Overview

As a Lead Carpenter, you’ll manage on-site operations, direct a team of carpenters and laborers, and ensure that all work meets project specifications, schedules, and quality standards. You’ll be hands-on with framing, finishing, and problem-solving — serving as both a leader and a craftsman.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all aspects of carpentry work on job sites
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
Train and mentor crew members; enforce safety and quality standards
Manage materials, tools, and site organization
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Qualifications

5+ years of carpentry experience
Strong knowledge of framing, trim, cabinetry, and general construction practices
Proven ability to manage crews and communicate effectively
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
OSHA certification or willingness to obtain (preferred)
Must pass background check
