We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Cook to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to staff development. As the Lead Production Cook, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Oversee inventory control processes to maintain stock levels and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all food production activities.
• Assist in hiring and interviewing new kitchen staff to build a skilled culinary team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment.
• Monitor food costs and implement strategies for cost control without compromising quality.

Experience

• Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably a role in which supervision was minimal.
• Strong knowledge of food service management principles, including inventory control and food production techniques.
• Experience fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with a diverse team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
