Pay

Duties

• Prepare and cook lefse dough using traditional methods, ensuring quality and consistency in every batch
• Operate POS systems for sales transactions, upselling products to enhance customer experience
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Handle food safely by following sanitation and food handling protocols, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and serving areas
• Manage cash handling duties accurately, including cash register operation and basic math calculations for transactions
• Assist with food prep tasks like bussing tables, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean work environment
• Support fast-paced service by managing time efficiently during busy periods to ensure quick turnaround times

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation practices
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Experience working in the food industry or grocery store environments is advantageous but not mandatory
