About us

Wish Recovery Luxury Rehab & Detox offers a unique approach to personal recovery from alcohol and drug addiction, behavioural problems, substance misuse and co-occurring/dual diagnosis illnesses.

Wish Recovery IOP is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. The ideal candidate will provide direct clinical services, ensure high-quality clinical documentation, and oversee documentation supervision and audits in compliance with California regulations, DHCS, and payer requirements.

This role is well-suited for a licensed clinician who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about maintaining clinical excellence and compliance while supporting both clients and clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy for clients enrolled in IOP
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities appropriate for substance use and co-occurring disorders
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards of care consistent with BBS and California law

Clinical Documentation & Compliance

  • Complete accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation (assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries)
  • Supervise and review clinical documentation completed by associates and other clinical staff
  • Conduct regular clinical chart audits to ensure compliance with:
  • DHCS standards
  • Internal policies and procedures
  • Provide corrective feedback, guidance, and training to staff regarding documentation standards
  • Assist with preparation for audits, site visits, and quality assurance reviews

Supervision & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and counselors to coordinate care
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted California LCSW license (required)
  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in substance use treatment, mental health, or IOP/PHP settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of California documentation, compliance, and confidentiality laws (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2)
  • Experience with clinical documentation review, audits, and quality assurance preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with DHCS documentation standards
  • Familiarity with EHR systems
  • Ability to provide clear, supportive feedback to clinical staff
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance-driven mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to summarize pertinent information for patient care plan via written documentation
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
